Box Office Hours:
Monday through Saturday: Noon – 5:00pm
Performance days: Noon – Start of Performance
The Box Office is closed on Sundays when no productions are running. We are also closed for the following holidays: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, and Christmas through New Year’s Day.

Discounted Subscriber Single Tickets: Any additional ticket you purchase will be at the discounted subscriber rate for that performance. Call the Box Office at (773) 753-4472 or login with your subscriber account on our website before selecting your seats and select the “Subscriber” price to purchase.
Discounted Tickets to An Iliad: As one of our valued subscribers, you get $10 off tickets to An Iliad. Discounted tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at (773) 753-4472 or by logging in with your subscriber account, selecting your performance and seats, and selecting the Subscriber price to purchase.
Late Seating: You may watch the performance on the lobby monitor until the House Manager finds a safe time to seat you. You may be seated in alternative seats and will be able to move to your ticketed seat when and if there is an intermission.
Lost Tickets: If your tickets are lost or misplaced, the Box Office will gladly email or reprint them at no charge.
Accessibility: Court Theatre offers accessibility options for patrons who may need additional services. On the Plan Your Visit site, you’ll find accessibility information regarding parking and seating, as well as performance dates for Open Captioning, Audio Description, Touch Tours, and American Sign Language.
COVID Protocol: Court will continue to follow federal, state, city, and University of Chicago guidelines. Due to ongoing health risks, particularly to the unvaccinated, participants are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials or to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional.
Ticket Exchanges
Upgrade charges apply when exchanging to a higher-priced performance; the difference is due at the time of exchange. Downgrades are not refundable. Subject to availability.
- Exchanges for all productions are available now.
- Exchanges are not permitted once a performance has begun or after it has passed.
- Series subscription tickets may not be exchanged from one production to another.
- If unable to use your tickets, you may donate your tickets back to Court as a tax-deductible contribution (must be donated prior to your scheduled performance).
Exchange By Phone: Select your new, preferred performance and call the Box Office at (773) 753-4472 to exchange dates. Please make sure you have your original tickets easily accessible when you call.
Exchange In-Person: Bring your tickets to the Box Office window to exchange in person.

You may use the “Forgot your password?” option to reset your password. A new temporary password will be emailed to you. If you are unable to access your account, please call the Box Office for assistance.
- Click Events and Tickets in the left sidebar under My Account
- Click Manage Tickets to view events available for exchange.
- Click the month when your current tickets are scheduled and click the performance date to see your tickets.
- Check the boxes next to all the tickets you wish to exchange and click Exchange/Upgrade.
- Select a new performance date.
- Select your new seats from the seat map and click Continue.
- Confirm the exchange. If you wish to start over, Select a different event.
- Select your preferred Delivery Method and confirm address. (If you select Email, you will receive tickets a a week before the first performance of that production.) Click Continue.
- If a balance is due for an upgrade on your exchange, please enter payment on the Billing screen. Click Confirm.
- Accept the Terms & Conditions to complete the order.
- If your exchange has been completed successfully, you’ll see a page that says Exchange Summary and receive an email confirmation of your updated subscription order.
Flex Ticket Redemption
You may redeem your Flex Tickets for the production, date, and time you prefer, based on availability.
- Premium Flex Tickets may be redeemed for any date.
- Regular Flex Tickets may be redeemed for any performance except matinees during the Regular Run.
- Value Flex Tickets are valid for Previews only.
- Flex Tickets are not valid towards An Iliad or other special engagements.
Redemption of Flex Tickets is subject to availability. Once you have made reservations, you may exchange tickets for another performance or production, but other regular subscription exchange policies apply.

- Check boxes next to all Flex Tickets that you wish to redeem and click Exchange/Upgrade. To reserve for multiple dates, you will need to reserve each date separately.
- Select a performance date from the list.
- Select your seats from the seat map and click Continue.
- Confirm the exchange. If you wish to start over, you may Select a different event.
- Select your preferred Delivery Method and confirm address. (If you select Email, you will receive your tickets a week before the first performance of that production.) Click Continue.
