SHEREE BYNUM is a natural performer who consistently brings to life the portrait of any director’s written imagery. Her performance in the independent film Overcome garnered her a Best Actress nomination by the Black Excellence Committee/African American Arts Alliance. Sheree has starred in a plethora of independent films, national TV commercials for Walmart, and print ads in Black Enterprise Magazine for a Nationwide Insurance campaign. Sheree produced her own comedy show, Laugh To Keep From Crying, as a tribute to the iconic Carol Burnett, where she seamlessly played 7 characters throughout 5 skits, which were written and directed by the legendary Christine Houston. Bynum’s production debuted at Victory Gardens Theater to sold out audiences. A graduate of Illinois State University and Second City Improv, she also has credits as a producer for Robert Townsend in creating fundraising videos for NAEFI, National Alliance of the Formerly Incarcerated, and the Chicago Westside Branch NAACP.
