MATTHEW RANDLE-BENT is a scholar and artist from the United Kingdom, based in Chicago. This fall, he is an Artist in Residence at The Watermill Center, the laboratory of performance and the humanities founded by Robert Wilson. His most recent theatre project was as dramaturg on Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s production of I, Banquo. He teaches Dramaturgy and Theatre Studies at DePaul University’s Theatre School and Loyola University Chicago’s Department of Fine and Performing Arts, while completing his PhD in Theatre and Drama at Northwestern University. His writing has been published in Contemporary Theatre Review, caa.reviews, and Theatre Journal.
