Professional Development for Teachers

In 2024, the Court Theatre Education Initiative launched a brand-new summer professional development opportunity for teachers, called Dramatic Literacy: Unlocking Text-Based Play. We are thrilled that this workshop is expanding to five days of CPDU-eligible hours in 2025. Participants will be invited to develop curriculum-building skills centered in theatre-based practices through partnered activities, field experience, and learning sessions. 

This year’s Dramatic Literacy will take place August 4 – 8, 2025 and the application will go live soon.
