Let’s Talk About Art
In Partnership with Hyde Park Arts Center
Feb 17, 2025 — Feb 20, 2025
Court Theatre joins the Let’s Talk About Art series, Hyde Park Art Center’s innovative hybrid learning program for older adults (65+), where participants explore visual and performing arts and create their own art inspired by exhibits and performances they attend. Registration for this program is managed by Hyde Park Art Center and will open early January 2025.
Dive into A Raisin in the Sun through two virtual lecture-style workshops, followed by a site visit in which you attend the production, followed by an in-person artmaking workshop at the Hyde Park Art Center. The virtual sessions will provide background not only on the play and Lorraine Hansberry, but also Court Theatre as an organization and the creative concept of this production. All workshops will be led by Raisin Sound Designer and Court Teaching Artist Willow James.
Space is limited and reservations are required to participate. This program is free, and registrants will receive a complimentary ticket to A Raisin in the Sun.
